Foamal 포말 [pʰo̞.ma̠ɭ]
This is Makgeolli, a traditional Korean rice wine produced in Donghae, a coastal city in South Korea. It features a strong carbonation, and the brand identity is designed by combining the imagery of sea foam and effervescence.
Inspired by the similarity between the color of makgeolli and sand, as well as the sediment settling at the bottom, I designed the label with a sea foam graphic at the lower part to visually represent the sand-like sediment in the bottle.
